JSW Steel Ltd moved up over 2 per cent in a bearish market.
At 1 pm, the stock was trading higher by 2.05 per cent or Rs 19.65 at Rs 975.90.
The company’s crude steel production rose 4 per cent in FY2014-15.
JSW's March production numbers are slightly better than February at 0.99 million tonnes, said Religare.
Religare has maintained a "buy" with a target of Rs 1,310 a share.
