Khaitan Electricals has informed the exchange that operations at the company’s Kolkata Works located at P-10, Transport Depot Road, Kolkata, has been suspended in order to cut overhead costs and achieve economies in operations. All workers’ dues have been settled, the company said. The production facility at the Kolkata Works has been shifted to the Hyderabad Works situated at 129, Sri Venkateswara Co-op Industrial Estate, IDA, Bollaram 502320, and the Faridabad Works situated at Plot No. 14, Sector 6, Faridabad 121006. Shares of Khaitan Electricals jumped 4.84 per cent at ₹39 on the NSE.
