Larsen & Toubro was the top gainer on the NSE as well at the close of trading on Thursday. It ended the day at Rs 1,830.75, up 2.87 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 1,779.60.
Kotak Mahindra Bank traded up 2.15 per cent to quote at Rs 706.80 against Rs 691.90 at close yesterday.
Punjab National Bank was up 1.86 per cent at Rs 161.95 against Rs 159 at close last evening.
Dr Reddy’s Labs edged down to quote at Rs 4,266.60. This was down 1.78 per cent on its previous close at Rs 4,191.80.
Tata Motors drove up 1.63 per cent at Rs 382.55 against Rs 376.40 at close yesterday.
