Sun Pharma was on a roll on Wednesday morning, leading the pack on both the BSE and the NSE. At 12.10 pm the share was trading at Rs 999.50 on the NSE, a gain of 5.99 per cent on its previous close at Rs 943.05.
Kotak Mahindra Bank was trading at Rs 1,443.40, up 2.46 per cent at Rs 1,408.70.
Bharti Airtel rang in gains of 2.12 per cent at Rs 356.65 as against Rs 349.25 at close on Tuesday.
DLF built up gains of 2.02 per cent to trade at Rs 154.35 as against Rs 151.30 at close yesterday.
Tata Motors sped up 1.77 per cent at Rs 584.25. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 574.10.
The Sensex and the Nifty soared to record highs following the RBI's 25bps repo rate cut earlier today. The Sensex soared over 240 points to hover above the 29,830 level, while the Nifty gained over 70 points to trade at above the 9,060 level.
