Larsen & Toubro made rapid strides to emerge the top gainer on the BSE at the close on Thursday. At 3.19 pm the share was trading at Rs 1,826.20 against Rs 1,778.50 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 2.68 per cent.
Dr Reddy’s Labs trimmed its morning gains to quote at Rs 4,264.05, up 1.65 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 4,194.95.
Tata Motors drove up 1.58 per cent to trade at Rs 382.70. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 376.75.
Lupin also edged down a tad to trade at Rs 1,701.7 as against Rs 1,680.10 overnight. This represented a gain of 1.29 per cent.
TCS spurted 1.26 per cent at Rs 2,573.55 against Rs 2,541.65 at close yesterday.
