Insurance behemoth LIC has sold 14.82 lakh shares of Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd during December 6-January 23.
Gujarat Alkalies has disclosed to the exchanges that after the stake sale, LIC’s stake in the company has been reduced to 3.412 per cent from 5.431 per cent.
The Gujarat Alkalies stock was trading one per cent lower at Rs 139.75 against the previous day’s close of Rs 141.10.
