Pharma shares were among the top gainers on the NSE at mid-session on Thursday. At 12.19 pm Lupin led the pack on the bourse, trading at Rs 1,940.30, a gain of 3.57 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 1,873.40.
Tata Steel spurted 3.10 per cent to trade at Rs 342.05. The share had ended the overnight session at Rs 331.75.
Asian Paints was trading up 2.84 per cent at Rs 837.30 as against Rs 814.20 at close yesterday.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries rose 2.77 per cent to trade at Rs 1,073.40 as against Rs 1,044.50 overnight.
Larsen & Toubro gained 1.75 per cent to quote at Rs 1,728.80. The share had finished the previous session at Rs 1,699.05.
