Lupin was the top gainer on the BSE on Wednesday morning. At 10.44 am the share was trading at Rs 1,883.70 against Rs 1,829.45 at close on Tuesday. This represented a gain of 2.97 per cent.
Wipro advanced 2.24 per cent to quote at Rs 554 against Rs 541.85 at close yesterday.
Reliance Industries gained 2.14 per cent to trade at Rs 871.15 against Rs 852.90 at close overnight.
NTPC steamed up 1.93 per cent at Rs 121.70 against Rs 119.40 at close yesterday.
ONGC was up 1.91 per cent at Rs 235.20 against Rs 230.80 at close on Tuesday.
