M&M sped up the BSE on Monday morning. At 11 am it held gains of 2.08 per cent at Rs 1,220.65 as against Rs 1,195.80 at close last week.
Sun Pharma rose 2 per cent to trade at Rs 830. The share had ended Friday’s session at Rs 813.75.
Larsen & Toubro built up gains of 1.79 per cent to quote at Rs 1,688.95 as against Rs 1,659.20 at close last week.
Wipro was trading at Rs 544.95. This represented a gain of 1.42 per cent on its previous close at Rs 537.30.
Reliance Industries also held on to its recent firm trend to trade at Rs 901.55. This was a gain of 1.39 per cent on last Friday’s close at Rs 889.15.
