HDFC was the top gainer on the NSE at mid-session on Wednesday. The share was trading at Rs 1,330.80 as against Rs 1,288 at close on Monday. The markets were shut for a festival holiday yesterday.
M&M rode up 2.11 per cent to quote at Rs 1,236 as against Rs 1,210.45 at close previously.
NTPC was up 2.01 per cent at Rs 146.90. The share had closed Monday’s session at Rs 144.
Tata Power charged up 1.96 per cent to quote at Rs 85.75 as against its previous close at Rs 84.10.
ITC moved up 1.31 per cent at Rs 394.70 as against Rs 389.60 at close on Monday.
