Shares of textile and apparel manufacturer Mandhana Industries Ltd today jumped as much as 12 per cent after the Bombay High Court today acquitted famed actor Salman Khan in a 2002 hit-and-run case.
The stock hit its highest intra-day level since April 24. This is the biggest single-day gain since September 15.
Mandhana Industries has an exclusive licence agreement with Khan’s charitable trust Being Human.
Mandhana designs, markets and distributes Being Human clothing products ($1 = 66.7500 Indian rupees)
