London-based investment manager Sun Global Investments has firmed up its second Indian partnership to sell Indian fixed income instruments to global investors. After launching its first joint product with Mumbai-based research firm Zyfin earlier this month, it has now announced its partnership with financial services firm Edelweiss to offer full service solutions in rupee-denominated fixed income markets as well as dollar-denominated Indian debt across the UK, Europe and Asia.
According to Edelweiss, the partnership will enable investors access the full range of offerings distributed across markets. “As India Inc looks at ways to raise money through masala bonds, we will open a key diversified investment avenue into the Indian debt market for both investors and issuers,” Edelweiss said.
