What to watch: McLeod Russel: May build on asset sales

Shares of McLeod Russel will remain in focus, as it has executed two separate agreements to sell estates, bearer plants and specified assets of Bargang Tea Estate and Harchurah Tea Estate. While Amgoorie India will purchase the Bargang assets, Goodricke will buy the latter. In September 2018, it had entered into a deal with these entities for disposal of the assets. The transfer of land is subject to approval by the Competent Authority of the Government of Assam.
