The ₹1,200-crore initial pubic offering of Metropolis Healthcare was subscribed 5.8 times at the end of the book-running process, on Friday. The IPO has received bids for 4.44 crore equity shares against the IPO size of 76.61 lakh equity shares (excluding anchor investors’ portion). While the reserved portion for qualified institutional investors saw subscription of 8.87 times, non-institutional investors received bids for over three times, and retail investors subscribed two times. The diagnostics chain opened for subscription on April 3 in a price band of ₹877-880 a share.
