The stock of Oberoi Realty is likely to see buying interest, following the RBI permitting foreign institutional investors and registered foreign portfolio investors to invest up to 30 per cent of the paid-up capital of the company. The purchases can be made through both the primary markets and the stock exchanges. Currently, FIIs, including Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Oppenheimer International, Stichting Pensioenfonds and BlackRock Global Funds, own 16.95 per cent stake in the realty firm.
