Foreign fund house Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc sold nearly 21 lakh shares of IT firm Patni Computer Systems for over Rs 92 crore to two entities in the stock market on Tuesday.
Suffolk (Mauritius) Ltd bought 13,50,747 shares, while Mansfield (Mauritius) Ltd purchased another 72,7325 shares in two separate deals for Rs 444 a piece, as per the data available with the stock exchanges.
As on September quarter, Suffolk (Mauritius) Ltd, held 19,87,167 shares or 1.48 per cent stake in Patni Computer Systems.
Shares of Patni Computer Systems closed at Rs 444 a piece on the BSE, up 0.19 per cent from the previous close.
