Shares of MphasiS will turn ex-date for the proposed buyback on Wednesday. Investors wishing to participate in the ₹988-crore buyback need to own the company shares by Tuesday. The company will buy back 73.20 lakh shares at ₹1,350 a share. The offer is through tender process on a proportionate basis. Promoters had indicated their intentions to participate in the buyback. In 2017, too, the IT major had launched a buyback programme at ₹635 a share.
