The board of NBCC on Wednesday approved issuance of one bonus share for every two held in the company this fiscal. A total of 30 crore bonus shares will issued at a face value of ₹2 a share, amounting to ₹60 crore. The bonus shares, to be issued on or before March 3, 2017, will be given out of the free reserves of the construction and engineering major’s profits.
The company had ₹1,368.50 crore in free reserves as on March 31, 2016.
