Kalpataru Power Transmission shares climbed nearly 5 per cent today after the company bagged new orders worth over Rs 1,900 crore in overseas markets.
The stock went up by 4.68 per cent to end at Rs 268.15 on BSE. During the day, it gained 6.46 per cent to Rs 272.70.
On the NSE, it jumped 4.36 per cent to end at Rs 267.90.
“Kalpataru Power Transmission has secured new orders/ notification exceeding Rs 1,900 crore,” the company said in a BSE filing today.
The company said it has bagged a Rs 1,340 crore turnkey project for the construction of 225 kv transmission line and substation in Republic of Senegal.
The second order is for the constriction of 500 kv transmission line in Afghanistan worth Rs 575 crore, funded by ADB.
