NHPC board to consider raising up to ₹4,500 cr

The board of NHPC will meet on Friday to consider raising up to ₹4,500 crore via issue of corporate bonds by September next year. The issuance will be on private-placement basis, subject to shareholders’ approval through special resolution, the company informed the exchanges. Shares of NHPC closed at ₹25.10, up 0.4 per cent, on the NSE.
