What to watch. NHPC, Ramco Cements results, buyback eyed

The respective boards of NHPC and Ramco Cements which meet on Tuesday, will also consider a buyback proposal. The companies’ boards had earlier annouced that they will consider their Q3 (October-December) results at the meeting. Besides results, investors will keep a close watch on the buyback proposals, especially on the price, quantum and mode of the offer. They will also be keen to know whether promoters will participate in the buyback.
