NHPC has informed the exchanges that its Chutak power station in Jammu &Kashmir has restored operations of its unit 2 on Thursday. Earlier in November, the company had said that the plant’s unit 2 and 3 were shut since October 25 due to a problem in the water parts. The Chutak power plant has an installed capacity of 44 MW. Shares of NHPC were up 2.25 per cent at ₹20.45 on the NSE.
