Hindalco Industries rallied further to hold gains of 8.12 per cent at Rs 78.6 against Rs 72.7 at close on Tuesday.
Vedanta vaulted 6.84 per cent to trade at Rs 99.90 against Rs 93.50 at close yesterday.
NTPC steamed up 5.64 per cent to quote at Rs 120.90 against Rs 114.45 at close overnight.
Tata Steel edged up further to trade at Rs 239.50 against Rs 228.75 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 4.70 per cent.
