HDFC rallied further to hold gains of 7.85 per cent at the close on the BSE on Thursday. The share finished the session at Rs 1,188.85 against Rs 1,102.35 at close overnight.
NMDC surged 7.47 per cent to trade at Rs 99.25 against Rs 92.35 at close yesterday.
Vedanta spurted higher to quote at Rs 91.40. This represented a gain of 6.84 per cent on its previous close at Rs 85.55.
Cairn India gained 6.47 per cent at Rs 138.15 against Rs 129.75 at close yesterday.
Bank of Baroda traded up 6.32 per cent at Rs 188.4 against Rs 177.20 at close yesterday.
