NTPC spurted up on the BSE on Friday. At 10.29 am the share was the top gainer on the bourse, trading at Rs 127.40 against Rs 125.05 at close on Thursday.
Maruti Suzuki drove up 1.37 per cent to quote at Rs 4,440 against Rs 4,379.85 at close last evening.
Larsen & Toubro built up gains of 1.19 per cent to trade at Rs 1,579 against Rs 1,560.50 at close yesterday.
Tata Motors advanced 1.05 per cent to trade at Rs 384.70 against Rs 380.70 at close overnight.
TCS was trading at Rs 2,489 against Rs 2,468.65 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 0.82 per cent.
