NTPC surged over 5 per cent on Friday morning to emerge the top gainer on the BSE. At 10.54 am the share was trading at Rs 134.85, up 5.52 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 127.80.
Dr Reddy’s Labs edged up further to quote at Rs 4,291.70. This was a gain of 1.84 per cent on its previous close at Rs 4,214.05.
Cipla perked up 1.45 per cent at Rs 701.10 against Rs 691.10 at close yesterday.
Bharti Airtel rode up 1.41 per cent to quote at Rs 359.95 against Rs 354.95 at close last evening.
Reliance Industries gained 1.32 per cent to trade at Rs 954 against Rs 941.55 at close on Thursday.
