There were just a few shares trading in the green following a huge slump in the markets on higher inflation numbers. At 3.45 pm ONGC was the top gainer on the BSE on Friday, quoting at Rs 314.75. This was a gain of 0.85 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 312.10.
Bharti Airtel gained 0.68 per cent to trade at Rs 400.20. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 397.50.
NTPC was flat, trading at Rs 159.65. This was a gain of 0.09 per cent on Thursday’s close at Rs 159.50.
