ONGC was the top gainer on the BSE in the Friday morning session. At 10.44 am the share was trading at Rs 276.95 against Rs 270.35 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 2.44 per cent.
Vedanta spiked up 2.05 per cent at Rs 129.50 against Rs 126.90 at close yesterday.
Tata Motors rode up 1.37 per cent to quote at Rs 388.15 against Rs 382.90 at close overnight.
Reliance Industries was up 1.18 per cent at Rs 991 against Rs 979.40 at close on Thursday.
GAIL (India) was up 0.77 per cent at Rs 345.70. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 343.05.
