Godrej Agrovet’s open offer to the shareholders of Astec Lifesciences begins on Tuesday. Godrej Agrovet, the agri-business unit of Godrej Industries, plans to acquire upto 50.67 lakh equity shares of Astec Lifesciences at ₹246.60 a share. The offer will remain open till December 8. A little over 12,000 retail investors own 17.38 per cent stake in Astec Lifesciences, while 43 high net worth individuals control 15.07 per cent stake in the company.
