The board of directors of Orient Green Power Company will meet on May 7 to consider and take on record its fund-raising plans, to be put into operation at an appropriate time. The channels include domestic/ international offerings by way of foreign currency convertible bonds, or offerings to Indian or foreign institutional investors, foreign mutual funds, overseas corporate bodies, foreigners, alternative investment funds or qualified institutional buyers. Shares of Green Power gained 2.55 per cent at ₹14.09 on the BSE.
SEBI has allowed promoters of Styrolution ABS (India) to reduce their stake in the company through an offer-for-sale to be conducted by the exchanges to meet equities market regulator SEBI’s minimum public shareholding norm. However, Styrolution ABS has already met SEBI public shareholding norm, as promoters hold 75 per cent stake. Shares of Styrolution closed at ₹646.75 on the NSE, a gain of 1 per cent.
IFGL Refractories has informed the exchanges that its UK subsidiary Monocon International Refractories Ltd has appointed Giorgio Cappelli as a Director, effective May 1. Cappelli, a Doctorate in Industrial Chemistry from Milano University, has been Chief Operating Officer and Board Member in charge of the Steel Division of RHI AG Vienna, manufacturers of specialised refractories for iron and steel producers. “His presence on the Board of MIRL will benefit all the Group companies,” said IFGL Refractories in a statement to the exchanges. Shares of IFGL Refractories gained 2.5 per cent at ₹135.6 on the NSE.
