Shares of health management company Panacea Biotec Ltd rose as much as 18.7 per cent to Rs 212.8, their biggest intrad-ay gain since March 28, 2019.
The company said on Monday the India Resurgence Fund (IndiaRF) had announced an investment of up to $144 million in the company.
Subject to the exercise of warrants, IndiaRF affiliates will collectively own 10.4 per cent stake in the company.
About 4,50,749 shares changed hands, compared with the 30-day average of around 1,13,717 shares. As of Monday's close, the stock is up 11.93 per cent so far this year.
The stock ended at Rs 200.45, up Rs 19.30 (+10.65%) on the BSE.
