Petronet LNG has sought approval of its shareholders to increase the investment limit for foreign institutional investors to 30 per cent of its paid-up capital, from the current 24 per cent. The company has put forward this proposal to create more headroom for FIIs and improve liquidity in its shares. Petronet LNG is also seeking shareholders’ approval to raise up to ₹1,000 crore through issue of non-convertible debentures.
