Premier Explosives rose 2.8 per cent on Tuesday to close at ₹246.20 on the BSE, after the company received industrial licence from the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion for manufacturing of certain ammunition. The stock jumped to a high of ₹252.90 in early trade. The licence is for production of 40mm and above calibre ammunition, rockets, missiles, mines related to defence, bombs and cartridge explosives.
