Premier Polyfilm has decided to shift Unit Number I of the company from 40/1A, Site IV, Industrial Area, Sahibabad, to Unit Number II of the company at Sikandrabad, Bullandshahr (UP), in a phased manner. This move has become necessary to align and synchronise the plant and machinery at Sikandrabad for improving the quality of products and increasing the production capacity of the combined plants at one place, the company said in a statement to the exchanges, and added that this will also eliminate production bottlenecks as some of the items can be finished at the combined plant & machinery which otherwise was a limiting factor. “However, every effort would be made to ensure minimal loss of production during shifting of plant & machinery,” it added. Shares of Premier Polyfilm jumped 4.6 per cent at ₹42.15 on the NSE.
