Maruti Suzuki India on Monday hiked prices of its models by up to ₹20,000. The increase for the newly-launched compact SUV Vitara Brezza will be ₹20,000 while that of new premium hatchback Baleno is ₹10,000. On a select range, the hike will be between ₹1,500 and ₹5,000, it said in a notification to the exchanges. It cited segment-wise demand, forex movements and strategic objectives as reasons for the price hike.
