The board of directors of Pricol on Tuesday allotted 2.96 lakh equity shares of ₹1 each to the shareholders of Xenos Automotive, pursuant to the scheme of amalgamation of the latter with Pricol. The amalgamation was approved by the Madras High Court. An application for listing of the newly-allotted shares will be filed shortly with the exchanges, the company said. Following the allotment, the paid-up capital of the company has increased to ₹9.47 crore (₹9.45 crore). Shares of Pricol edged down 2 per cent at ₹42 on the BSE.
