Shares of Punj Lloyd jumped as the company's joint venture has emerged as the lowest bidder for Myanmar project.
Engineering and construction services provider Punj Lloyd Ltd's shares rose as much as 8.8 per cent to their highest since May 11.
The company's joint venture has been declared as the provisional lowest bidder for a highway project in Myanmar, although letter of intent for the project is yet to be issued by the National Highway Authority of India.
Up to Thursday's close, the stock had risen 21 per cent this year.
