Shares of Ranbaxy Laboratories will stop trading on the BSE and the NSE from April 6 as it is getting merged with Sun Pharmaceutical Industries. For every share, shareholders of Ranbaxy will get 0.8 share of Sun Pharma. With April 1 being the last day, both the stocks may see higher activity. April 7 has been fixed as the record date to find eligible shareholders to get Sun Pharma shares. All F&O contracts on Ranbaxy will also expire on April 1.
