Shares of rate-sensitive sectors, such as banking, automobile, consumption and real estate will remain in focus on Thursday, as the Reserve Bank meets for its monetary policy review.
Taking a cue from the interim Budget, some market participants do not expect any rate-cut from the central bank. However, some see a change in RBI stance that may pave the way for future rate cuts.
If the RBI surprises with a cut, most shares from the above sectors could see at least a relief rally.
