REC: Focus on Q2 results on Wednesday

The board of REC Ltd will meet on Wednesday to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2018. Analysts will closely track the financial performance of the PSU major, which had reported a strong number in the previous quarter. For the first quarter of the current fiscal, REC had reported a profit of ₹1,468.70 crore and revenues of ₹5,738.59 crore; for FY18, it had posted a PAT of ₹4,647 crore on revenues of ₹22,358.27 crore.
