Sayaji Industries commenced its new dextrose monohydrate plant at its present factory premises at Kathwada, Ahmedabad. The company has increased the manufacturing capacity of dextrose monohydrate to 60 tonnes per day from the existing 10 tpa with an investment of approximately ₹40 crore. Dextrose monohydrate, being a value-added product, is expected to substantially improve its bottomline and enable the company to cater to increasing demand from pharmaceutical and FMCG companies, it said in a statement to the BSE, where the stock closed flat at ₹509.
