SBI up nearly 3% in late trading

State Bank of India held firm to extend its gains ahead of the close on Friday. At 2.45 p.m. it was trading at Rs 1,815.30 on the BSE, representing a gain of 2.93 per cent on Thursday’s close of Rs 1,763.55.
