India's largest public sector bank State Bank of India bucked the overall negative trend in the market.
The bank's shares were among the top 5 gainers in morning trade on Wednesday.
State Bank of India was quoting up 2.61 per cent at Rs 1,720.60 against its previous close of Rs 1,676.90.
On the NSE, it was trading at Rs 1,721.80 (Rs 1,675.25), up 2.78 per cent.
