The board of directors of Seamec , formerly South East Asia Marine Engineering & Construction, has discussed in brief the concept of a restructuring arrangement between the company and HAL Offshore proposed by its management. The board advised its management to prepare a comprehensive proposal along with legal requirements and place it before the subsequent board meeting for consideration. The stock jumped 5 per cent at ₹170.40 on the BSE.
