Sesa Sterlite gains on rebound in iron ore prices

Reuters Updated - December 07, 2021 at 01:28 AM.

Shares of Sesa Sterlite today rose 2.1 per cent tracking the gains in global iron ore prices.

The stock has fallen 11.7 per cent in the January-March quarter.

The uptick in prices indicates recovery in steel demand, which would be a long-term positive to the stock, traders say.

Meanwhile, Chinese iron ore futures rose for a fourth straight session to hit a one-month high on Monday.
