Fragrance and flavour-maker SH Kelkar’s received ₹150 crore from anchor investors a day before its initial public offer opened.
The investment by institutional investors at ₹180 (upper end of the price band) represents 30 per cent of the issue size.
The foreign investors were FII Capital Research, T Rowe and Neuberger Berman while domestic institutional investors were the mutual fund arms of ICICI Prudential, Birla Sunlife, Axis Bank and L&T.
The company plans to raise ₹508 crore from the issue.
