Shares of Shoppers Stop will remain in focus, as the company has exited from the duty-free airport retail business by selling the remaining 40 per cent stake in Nuance Group India Pvt Ltd to its joint venture partner Nuance Group AG for ₹6 crore.
On Thursday, Kishore Biyani’s retail behemoth Future Group had acquired HyperCity, a 19-store network of high-end grocery and merchandise retail, for ₹655 crore from Shoppers Stop.
