Skipper , manufacturers of power transmission & distribution structures, on Tuesday said it has secured fresh orders of over ₹150 crore for 2,500 towers from various telecom operators. The bulk of these would add to the upgradation of telecom infrastructure in Eastern India, it said in a statement to the exchanges. “Not only the domestic market, but also the company has got a foothold in the Americas with an order-win of approximately $5 million for telecom tower supplies to Latin America,” it further said. Shares of Skipper slipped 2 per cent at ₹88.05 on the BSE.
