Akshay Raheja, one of the promoters of Bangalore based Sonata Software has increased his stake in the company on Wednesday. Mr Raheja who held 5.47 per cent of the shares in Sonata has increased his stake to 7.85 per cent, according to a filing in the BSE.
He bought 25 lakh shares for Rs 4.7 crore. After this share purchase, Mr Raheja holds 82.5 lakh shares in the company. A similar amount has been bought by another promoter Mr Viren R Raheja in Sonata on the day. This has increased his stake to 7.85 per cent in the company.
