Steel Strip Wheels (SSWL) has bagged another export order from Egypt for its truck wheels plant in Chennai. The total order size is 50,000 wheels, which has to be dispatched from January 2019. This export order will generate additional revenue of $4.80 million for the company, SSWL informed the exchanges. This order strengthens SSWL’s presence in the high-potential truck & trailer segment. SSWL has already closed some orders in the EU and the US and expects to bag more orders in this segment in the near future from the same markets. Shares of SSWL, which moved up to a high of ₹1,046, closed marginally weak at ₹1,011.15 against the previous day’s close of ₹1,012.50, on the NSE.
